Amandola is in Central Italy, located in the provincia of Ascoli Piceno, the southernmost part of the Le Marche region. Le Marche is to the east of Umbria and Tuscany and to the south of Emilia Romagna.
Amandola is located within the national park, Parco Nazionale Monti Sibillini. On the map below, Amandola is at bottom, center, in yellow. In under an hour's drive, you are on the Marche Riviera, a series of quiet Adriatic beaches stretching for nearly 100 km from Monte Conero to the north to San Benedetto del Tronto to the south.
Amandola is also close the hilltowns of Umbria. Spoleto, Assisi, Perugia, Montefalco and Spello are just an over an hour's drive. It's a perfect base to explore Italian culture, history, art and cuisine.

from Amandola). From the U.S., the nearest airports are either Bologna
